“Doc Dena” is a lifelong resident of the Salinas area, attending Salinas High School and Hartnell College before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC-Davis in 1983. She opened Prunedale Veterinary Service in 1989. Her down-to-earth manner is comforting to pets and owners alike.
Larry is a transplant to the Salinas area, having been born in Monterey, then moving to Salinas at the age of 3. He has honed his phone answering skills in his 26 years at Prunedale Veterinary Service, and excels at computer solitaire. A former musician, he is seldom coherent before 11 AM, and grumpy when startled.
Drewcilla is one of the Doctor’s assistants at Prunedale Veterinary Service. A native of Calexico, CA, she moved to the Salinas area recently. She has a special bond with animals and is planning on continuing her education in the veterinary field.
Alondra is also one of Doctor’s assistants, and a local native as well. Her lifelong love of animals has led her to Prunedale Veterinary Service and learning new ways to help animals. She is pursuing her goal of being a zoologist in her studies at Cabrillo College.
